The Celebration of Life for Mrs. Carolyn Jeter, 60, of Orange, TX will be Saturday, February 2, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at the St. James Baptist Church, 1020 Eddy St, in Vinton, LA.

Rev. Willie Tillman, Jr., pastor, will officiate.

Rites of Christian Burial will follow in Edgerly Cemetery in Edgerly, LA under the direction of Sparrow Funeral Home.

Visitation will be Saturday morning from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at the church.

She died Thursday, January 24, 2013, at her residence.

A native of Vinton, LA, she resided in Orange since 1975.

A 1970 graduate of Vinton High School, she also graduated from Lamar State College Orange.

She was employed as a Teller in the banking and credit union industry.

Survivors include her husband, Claude E. Jeter and daughter, Courtney Elaine Jeter, both of Orange.
