The Celebration of Life for Mr. Robert “Fats” Hinson, Jr., 65 of Orange will be Saturday at 11:00 a.m. at the St. James Baptist Church. Rev. Hardy O’Neal, pastor, will officiate.

Rites of Christian Burial will follow in Magnolia Memorial Gardens under the direction of Sparrow Funeral Home.

Visitation will be Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at the church.

He died February 15, 2013 at his residence.

An Orange native, he attended Emma H. Wallace High School. During working years he was employed in the construction industry.

He is survived by his wife, Earna Hinson of Beaumont, TX, 2 sons, Robert D. Hinson of Boston, MA and Anteny Hinson of Beaumont, 4 daughters, Krisantia Hinson (Jason), Mary Hughey (Reggie), Anquinette Hinson, and Nadine Hinson, all of Beaumont, his mother, Katherine Hinson of Orange, 5 brothers, Rev. John Earl Hinson, Sr. of Orange, Christopher D. Hinson of San Antonio, TX, Kirklan B. Hinson and Paul Kent Hinson both of Orange and Charles Ray “Cheesy” Hinson of Lawton, OK, 3 sisters, Nadine D. Mack, Alice Faye Hinson, and Brenda K. Grimble, all of Orange, the mother of his children, Veronica Hinson of Beaumont, 11 grandchildren, and 6 great grandchildren.
